The News According to Chip Scoggins on Twitter, E.J. Henderson (broken leg) is expected to be ready for the start of training camp. Our View Henderson has been walking with the assistance of a cane for three weeks now and says he'll be ready to join the team in August. His rehab is on schedule, but we wouldn't be surprised if he endures some setbacks and shows up to camp late, considering how gruesome his leg injury was. Read More

The News Ten NFL teams attended Armanti Edwards' pro day audition at Appalachian State, according to the Charlotte Observer. The attendees were Carolina, Kansas City, Buffalo, Washington, Detroit, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Jacksonville, Philadelphia and Cleveland. Our View The Panthers are believed to have strong interest in Edwards, and that could have factored into their decision to part ways with veteran quarterback Jake Delhomme. Edwards comes from a small school, but he is a great athlete, and his future may actually end up being at receiver - like 2009 draft pick Pat White (Dolphins). Read More

The News The Bengals would like to re-sign Reggie Kelly, who ruptured his left Achilles' tendon in 2009, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. Our View Cincinnati may also target a tight end in the draft though, and are believed to have Jermaine Gresham (Oklahoma) and Rob Gronkowski (Arizona) on their radar. They drafted Chase Coffman out of Missouri last season, but were displeased with his poor blocking skills as a rookie even though he has strong upside as a pass-catcher. Read More

The News According to Adam Schefter on Twitter, the Eagles and restricted free-agent running back Mike Bell have reportedly agreed on a one-year, $1.7 million contract. Our View Apparently $500,000 of the contract will be guaranteed and the Saints now have seven days to match the offer. Considering how Bell faded down the stretch last season, they're not likely to put up that much guaranteed money. He looks to be vulturing TDs from LeSean McCoy in Philly next season while handling goal-line duties, but certainly doesn't represent the worst case scenario for potential McCoy owners. The move also boosts Pierre Thomas' value in New Orleans. Read More

The News Raiders director of squad development Willie Brown has stated that JaMarcus Russell was absent from the team's voluntary offseason workouts yesterday due to personal reasons and should be back with the team today and in better shape that last season, according to the Contra Costa Times. To Russell's credit, Brown said that Russell had to be in Alabama to "close a home", though we still won't believe that Russell is a changed man until he gives us a reason to believe so. Read More
