Mark Buehrle, Kelvim Escobar, and Brad Penny are available
in my 12-team, standard Head-to-Head CBS Fanatsy League. Which one would you recommend picking up?
All three of the pitchers you mention are quality fantasy
pitchers in a 12-team fantasy league and should be owned. Since you likely only have the ability to add
one of these players, your choice should be Brad Penny. Compare the stats below...

As you can see, all 3 have done very well so far the season-
the question is who will continue to perform for you once you pick them up? In these situations the GNUru likes to think
big and take the player with the most upside.
You know what Mark Buehrle's ceiling is and his low strikeout totals
will prevent him from being an elite fantasy pitcher. Kelvim Escobar has never been able to
consistently perform and the fact that this years stats are skewed by the fact
he has faced the worst hitting team in baseball twice (the Chicago White Sox). Out of the 3 mentioned above, the GNUru would
pick up Mr. Brad Penny. Penny has always
had dominant stuff. If Penny can stay in
control, keep his walks down, and stay healthy Brad could potentially be a top
10 fantasy pitcher. Although there are
some if in there, the number is far less than that of the other 2.
